What’s the most exciting new app you’re downloading?
If you’re a diehard Netflix subscriber, you might have noticed a new feature for your Netflix account: the ability to sync your history with your Google account.
The Netflix Sync feature lets you sync your Netflix history to your Google Drive account, which means you can keep your movies, TV shows, and audiobooks, and watch them anytime and anywhere.
You can use this sync feature to play your favorite Netflix movies, shows, or audiobones when you are connected to Wi-Fi, which is always the case for the streaming service.
The only catch?
If the Google Drive sync is not enabled, your movies and TV shows will not sync automatically with Netflix.
That’s because your Google drive history is stored in your Google Cloud Storage account.
When you sync, it will overwrite your history, and you won’t be able to see your Netflix content anytime soon.
But don’t worry: Netflix is giving you the option to turn the sync off in your settings.
In the Netflix Sync section of your account settings, you can turn off the sync completely.
The sync option will be there when you first sign in to your Netflix app.
But you’ll need to go back to the sync page and turn it off again when you log back in.
