By the end of this month, Microsoft will be rolling out a batch of security and reliability updates for the PlayStation 4 console.
We’ve seen similar updates for other consoles in the past.
This update for PS4 will roll out on a monthly basis starting next month, with each update introducing new vulnerabilities and security vulnerabilities.
Microsoft says it will fix all vulnerabilities on PS4 over the next five months, but you can expect to see new exploits, exploits for common exploits, and new attacks in the weeks ahead.
You can check out the full list of security, stability, and productivity enhancements for the PS2 here.
The PS4’s update is also available for the Xbox One.
It includes improvements for the system, including: -Improved audio playback with Dolby Atmos, and support for Dolby TrueHD (4K) audio playback and surround sound for surround sound headsets.
-Improved system stability with the ability to run new games and apps at 60 frames per second, with the addition of GameDVR and the ability for games to start and end at a later time.
-Better network stability and stability with a better support for IPv6, including support for DNS resolving and more reliable IPv6 NAT.
-Support for Bluetooth 4.0 headsets and the addition to the PS3 and PS4 for more flexible remote play and sharing of content.
The Xbox One update is available now, while the PlayStation4 is scheduled to roll out in December.
Microsoft notes the PS1 and PS2 consoles will be updated in a similar manner, so we’ll be following that with updates for both platforms.
What are the best PS4 upgrades to make?
While this update will introduce new vulnerabilities, there’s nothing particularly bad about it for security and stability.
As far as performance goes, the Xbox and PS1 consoles are still the fastest, most reliable, and most capable of running the most recent version of Microsoft’s operating system.
But the PS5 is fast, but not as fast as the PS 4.
We’re not sure if the Xbox 720 or PS5 720 will be the most power efficient of the PS family, but we’ll let you know when we find out.
