By now you’ve probably heard about the new version of the Fox Access database that was announced in June and now it appears that the company is also planning to release the same content to their mobile app as well.
The database is part of a larger overhaul for the company that includes adding new features such as “free” and “premium” categories to their video game and podcast databases.
However, as the FoxSports.com team pointed out, FoxSports Access is currently limited to their current mobile app and desktop database, as they’ve only been able to make a few changes to it since it was first announced.
We’re not sure what the changes will be like, but if we see more changes to the database and other content that’s not yet made public, then the site may not have the same breadth and depth of content as the app.
As for the mobile app, it will be able to add content to the user’s existing FoxSports account and then update that account based on a variety of criteria, including a user’s current ranking on the site.
The site has already announced a handful of additional changes to their app for iOS, but they haven’t been announced to the general public.
The Fox Sports team also noted that the team plans to release a new version for Android and iOS soon, but it’s not clear when.
We will update this article if anything becomes available.
The site has a number of other features that will make their mobile apps even better, but we’re still not sure if this will be the one that the mobile team will bring to the desktop app.
